Family by Family is a new kind of social start-up developed with families for families. Our vision is an Australia where all families thrive, not just survive. Our mission to find, link-up and coach families to grow each other’s goals and connections.
With a successful prototype under our belts, Family by Family is now looking to link-up with a ‘Business Coach’ to meet our goals for growth. Our first challenge is to operationalise the model in two South Australian suburbs. Our second challenge is to scale the model to other locations across South Australia, before spreading the model to other states. We’re seeking to create change with families, whilst leaving change in our account.
You don’t need experience in the social sector – you’ll be working closely with our director, Carolyn Curtis, whose got heaps of family experience. What you do need is a strong business sense and commitment to social justice. You’ll need to be creative with business modeling and planning – and able to work through the conundrums of growing an enterprise whilst creating sustainable change with and for people.
